Your assignment is to read a book from the Virginia Young Readers list and design a book cover and take and pass an Accelerated Reader test. Deadline for completion is Monday, August 17th.

Pretend you are the artist for the cover of the book you just read.  Design a new cover.  You may draw the cover or create it on the computer.  The title and author of the book must be on the cover.  The book cover should be on 8 1/2" x 11" paper or card stock.  The student's name and grade must be on the BACK of the book cover.
